Making Memories in Spring Hill

January 2, 2019

A dog park is incredibly important to the Parks and Recreation team in Spring Hill because they are a safe place to play, make new friends and relax. The Spring Hill dog park is the only dog park in Maury County and is used by many families from the surrounding areas. For the local furry friends, it is also a place where they were offered a starring role in a music video.

Rising country star, Sarah Ross filmed her new music video “Doin’ Just Fine” in the park - complete with pups and a greater message of care.

Sarah is passionate about animal welfare and volunteers with Pet Pals of Maury County. Pet Pals is a nonprofit that offers low-cost spay, neuter and rabies vaccinations. The group also assists low-income senior citizens by feeding their pets.

The music video gave the Spring Hill dog park patrons a chance to show off their dogs, while spreading the news on the important work that Pet Pals handles.

The Boyd Foundation Dog Park Dash grant will allow the Parks and Recreation team to expand the Spring Hill dog park and make every pet that visits feel like a star.  You can view Sarah’s music video here.
